Signal Council: When Innovation Meets Scale

Great health innovation is being created across the West Midlands. But creating innovation and successfully scaling it are two very different things.

Signal Council is a private, invitation-only roundtable bringing together a small group of senior leaders from MedTech, life sciences, healthcare, academia, investment and the wider innovation ecosystem.

Convened by Precilium and hosted at Birmingham Health Innovation Campus with PHTA, the inaugural Council will explore one central question:

What needs to be true for the West Midlands to become one of the best places in Europe to build and scale a MedTech company?

The conversation will examine the points where promising companies can lose momentum, from leadership and talent to clinical evidence, investment, regulation, commercialisation and NHS adoption.

This is not a conference or traditional panel discussion. It is a working conversation designed to surface the signals that senior leaders, institutions and the region need to pay attention to before scale becomes the problem.

The discussion will operate under the *Chatham House Rule*, allowing participants to speak candidly and focus on practical opportunities for greater collaboration across the ecosystem.
